Amanda Martignetti

Amanda Martignetti Project Manager

Amanda has spent her career in fundraising and development. A graduate of Fairfield University, Amanda has extensive experience in grant writing, corporate fundraising, fundraising event management and strategic planning.

Amanda began her career at The JFM Group (formerly JFM 2 Productions) as Project Manager and after three years, was promoted to Project Director. While at JFM, Amanda produced major fundraising campaigns for various organizations, helping to raise over 8 million dollars for various clients including New Yorkers For Children, the Rhode Island School of Design, the Wildlife Conservation Society and V-Day. After this first period with JFM, Amanda went on to join the development team at The Children’s Village.

The Children’s Village, founded in 1851, works in partnership with families to help New York’s most vulnerable children become educationally proficient, economically productive, and socially responsible members of their communities. Among other successes at The Children’s Village, Amanda was responsible for a grant from the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) of $700,000 per year for five years for the agency to run a brand new, multi-generational community center in Harlem. This was the first grant for the Village from the DYCD.

After The Children’s Village, Amanda joined the Institutional Advancement team at Purchase College, SUNY. After 8 months on campus, Amanda was promoted to the position of Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations directly by the College President. Due to multiple staffing changes, Amanda also served as the primary major gifts officer for the College, closing five and six-figure gifts from across the donor spectrum: trustees, alumni, major donors, corporations and foundations.

Amanda brings a unique combination of fundraising and organizational skills back to The JFM Group, when she enthusiastically re-joined the team in June 2012. Since returning, Amanda has taken the lead on Furniture Sharehouse, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College, Bottomless Closet and New York Hospital Queens. Amanda initiated a year-long fundraising effort for New York Hospital Queens by introducing a consolidated donor solicitation strategy which yielded tremendous results for the Hospital.
