Jennifer Galante

Associate Project Manager

Jennifer graduated from Siena College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Writing and Communications. At Siena, Jennifer competed as a Division I athlete on the Women’s Tennis Team. She was also a Fellow, subsequently serving as a Mentor of the Siena Leadership Institute, a small committee of students who met regularly to hone skills in leadership, public speaking and team-building.  One major Fellow project was to organize and execute an annual campus-wide community service and leadership conference. This experience helped to spark Jennifer’s interest in event coordination and public service.

The summer after graduation, Jennifer was accepted into the AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) program where she completed a year of service for the Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford, Inc. As the organization’s first VISTA volunteer, she focused her efforts on building the organizational and administrative capacity of the affordable housing nonprofit, specifically targeting the development of resident-led initiatives and programs.

Following her year of service, Jennifer continued her career in the nonprofit industry, working as a Logistics Specialist for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Greater New York Chapter and then as the Manager of Special Events for the T.J. Martell Foundation in New York City. In these positions, Jennifer has gained a depth of knowledge and experience in fundraising and event management. It ranges from grassroots peer-to-peer campaigns such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides walks to large-scale special events like the T.J. Martell Foundation’s 40th Anniversary New York Honors Gala.

Jennifer is excited to bring this range of industry experience to the table as she joins the JFM team and its high level work with not-for-profit client strategic fundraising and initiatives.
