Calligrapher
Margaret Highland has worked as a calligrapher for more than 25 years in New York and Paris after learning the craft at the School of Visual Arts and the Calligraphy Workshop in New York City. Part of the JFM team since 2000, she has written thousands of beautiful and stylized place cards for our clients at formal events.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Margaret received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master of arts degree from Columbia University, both in art history. She has worked as an editor at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Dover Publications and is currently Education Director and Curator at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum in the Bronx’s Pelham Bay Park.
