The Building Dedication Ceremony took place on 69th Street in New York City, followed by a brunch in Olin Hall. The morning event was hosted by Sanford I. Weill, Robert J. Appel, Antonio M. Gotto, Jr., M.D., D.Phil., and the Board of Overseers. The new Medical Research Building was dedicated to and named for the Belfer Family for their substantial donation to the construction of this new building which will allow greater research facilities for students of the Medical College, researchers, scientists, and the world
