Lauren Yazzetta

Project Associate

Lauren graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. During her time there, Lauren was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority where she volunteered at various events to support nonprofit organizations such as Girls on the Run International, S. June Smith Center and the Special Olympics.

Shortly after graduating, Lauren received her Master’s degree in Marketing with a Project Management Certificate from Iona College. While obtaining her degree, Lauren worked for The Madison Square Garden Company in the Community Relations department and with the nonprofit organization Garden of Dreams.

As a Project Associate, Lauren is committed to using her experience to help the JFM team raise more money, build awareness, increase branding, and contribute to the overall organizational development and expansion of its diverse client base.

Lauren’s passion for helping others sparked when she was a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-changing connections between people who are blind or visually impaired with trained service dogs. When Lauren isn’t at work she can be found traveling, playing sports, hanging out with friends, family and her dog Carter.
